Even though i enjoy flaming the duramax, i checked out an 07 White GMC CC SB Z71 with every option in the books, and the LMM Duramax and it was one nice truck. I may have to jump on one of those. The new chevy looks terrible, but the GMC looks pretty good

 

The dmax's had leaky head gasket issues. The coolant will run down along the trans bellhousing. The buzzing under the dash maybe the wiper module, they had tons of issues with those.

 

I think Brand Loyality is BS....but it affects all types.....go to a chevy site....they say dodge's stink....to each their own.....

My philosophy is look at what is available at the time and make the best decision.....i really struggled between an 06 CTD and the 06 GMC LBZ.....truthfully, i probably would have gotten the LBZ if the 0% interest deal didnt go away 3 days before i got paid out on my stolen 05 CTD.....i dont tow, dont 4 wheel much....just carry dirtbikes and like to go fast....ended up with the Dodge becasue i couldnt get 0% anylonger...and I have had good luck with Dodge Trucks...but i think i would have been happy with the gmc as long as i had gotten a lift kit so it didnt look like a honda accord (ride height)....

 

Talked to chrysler today and to my surprise it looks like we worked out a deal that i can swallow, so I'm stayin with dodge.

Now i gotta make this thing tow better than my dads duramax!

Anyone have any idea what kind of hp. an '03 so. puts to the ground? The next thing i need to do is be able to use the MP-8 without excessive EGT'S. Whats the best way to make a good usable 400 HP. Do i need a smarty, turbo, injectors? And how can i use the power and keep temps safe?
