Headlights:1 side dim/other side bright-hit brights & it alternates

...alternates as in the side that was dim is bright & the other side goes dim.

Started doing this a month or so ago & hasn't lit up normally since...anybody know what the problem is?

seems its almost always a ground somewhere that causes the headlights to act goofy. had a old kw that would flash the headlights when i hit the turn signal, just a ground i come to find out.

do you have the right bulb in there? When I bought my truck somebody had put in the wrong bulb and it did axactly what you describe.

Well, I don't think it started acting this way at the time of any change of the bulb.

Mine did that. I took out the headlight switch and the plug in had a ton of corrosion. After cleaning the plug up all works fine again.

Well, heck I guess I've been drivin it this way the entire time I've owned it & never noticed cuz sure enuff I did have the wrong bulb in there...
