I'm looking for bigger then stock E rated tires. Is there anytrhing out there that I can get 40,000 miles out of ? I have 2 1/2" custom leveling springs so I'm thinking 285's - 315's. I'm not a big fan of BFG and it appears Nitto's don't hold up. Is there anything else out there ? Thanks.

Did you try Toyo's?

I've only run mine for about 1000 miles, so I don't have any idea how long they will last for...

But many people seem to like them around here...and the are the #1 rated tire for like 8 years or something...

Try the Cooper Cut and Chip resistant tires.
Also look at Toyo M-55. Expensive, but worth it.

I think for the most part guys have been very happy with the Toyo's. Both the AT and MTs are offered in an E rated tire in many different sizes. There have been a few reported cases of guys with excessive tire wear with the Toyos, and some attribute that to towing heavy with the Toyos. I've had mine for only 6K but they look good so far. And I am sure others will chime in.

Another obvious vote for the Toyo M-55,but they only make them up to a 265 for a 17" and to a 285 for a 16 " rim.

Regarding Toyo M-55's, yes they only come in OE size in the 17".

Well if you wouldn't mind a more highway terrain oriented tire i would look at the Dura Grappler. Mine are wearing great!

I've got 15k on my toyo at 285/75 (34")...wearing like a champ....definatly think they'll hit 40k w ease....great tire...had Nitto's before, wore out pretty quick, but was happy with them otherwise.

20,000 now, just did a first rotation and they balanced out perfect, no additional weights needed. And now that my bearing is fixed the interior noise is mucho grande, the stacks sound great now that the drone from the bearing is gone. Oh and treadwise, only lost a 1/32nd so far, and I haven't been lenient on em. They even do surprisingly well in some mud. It did take awhile to get used to the look over the terra grapplers, but now it looks pretty good to me.

You might give the Dick Cepek Radial FC-II's a try. i have heard many good things about them. And think that is the route i am going to take when i get new tires. They have them in some pretty good size options as well.
