I have the Dura Grapplers and they have been great so far. My only issue is that I ran with them at full pressure for the first few thousand miles and doing this will cause premature wear on the rears for some reason. I rotated them and dropped the pressure and they are doing much better. I could not tell you how they do offroad or in the snow/ice though.....

I am ordering these in the next week or two. Haven't found anything but good stuff about them so far.

I've got the Toyo open country a/t's, 285/70/17 e rated, with about 16,000 miles on them. 4500 of that was towing a 10k plus fifth wheel with a pin weight about 2000 lbs in the bed. The tread is a little over 60% gone. I will get 25k max out of these tires to the tread wear marks. When towing the rear tires wear twice as fast as the front. I have been rotating every 5k. But I am going to every 3k so I can get to 25k.
I have a friend with an 01 ram with a similar fifth wheel and he got 25k on the same tire. He is on his second set with similar wear.
The bad news is these Toyo's are by all accounts I have found so far, as good as it gets.
The good news is the A/T's are guaranteed to get 50,000 miles tread life . So like my friend, I plan to get my next set for half price.
By the way, except for the wear , this is a great tire. It runs smooth, tracks well with the trailer, and does as well offroad as any A/T tire I've had which includes BFG, Dunlop, and Dick Cepeck.

Where are you guys buying the Toyos and getting the 50% off deal for not wearing to 50K?

These are the tires I want! They are very expensive, but look awesome. I am going with the 295/70R/17 that will fit on my 17X7.5 steel rims.

I've yet to see an Interco tire last, good luck w/ that. They look great and might last 20K-30K.

285/70/17 Toyo Load Range E. Rated for more #'s than stock, and much softer. They also come with a 50K warranty...

I only found 3 E rated 285's, Toyo AT, Toyo MT, Durra Grapplers (Toyo rebrand)

I just read a bunch more posts about these Hankook Dynapro ATM rf10's 285/70-17 load range E and they are looking better and better. They have the highest rating I have seen at 3,750 and they are supposed to be quiet and ride great with a 50,000 warranty. I am hoping to order them in the next day or two.

I hadn't seen that tire before. The Toyo AT has the same warranty and load.

I read an article somewhere that they compared the two tires and they were pretty much dead even. The Hankooks cost a bit less so they were favored. I just talked to the local discount tire and he is looking inot availability as he said they have a hard time keeping them in stock.

I run the Durra's on my 01 3500 dually/flatbed that is loaded at around 11k lbs daily and a 7k trailer in tow. They have been on since January with about 18k miles on them at this time and are a little below half wear.I expect to get another 15k or so out of them. For the price there a good deal. They're not going to last near as long as the Michelin LTX's did(50K) but at a $70 diffrence a tire price they are a better deal in the end.

I have ran dynapros in the past and didn't get near the mileage that my durra's are going to get.Don't remeber the style,RF04 maybe? anyway they where a highway tread, similar to the durra's
