You said you got that from your local dealer. I wish mine would offer it.

 

Drove it a good bit the last 2 days,and never even acts different in normal driving.Very tame.I tangled with my brother's powerstroke today.His is an 03 2wd,4dr,shrt.-shrt. bed,dually.He has the straight 4" exhaust,150hp superchip,and K&N.His truck ran 14.70 at the drags last time out.I lost by a truck and a half once,and by 2 trucks the second time.Mine ran 16.75 last time before the programmer,so this was obviously a MAJOR improvement.My truck is a good bit heavier than his,and mine is taller,and of course pushin the 4wd.I highly recomend the superchip.

 

Man, I like the Superchip programmer alot I have it on the performance setting and drove to Dallas this weekend from Midland and my fuel mileage is normally around 16 on the highway driving about 73 MPH but the first tank I got around 17.5. I was pumped about that. I even got into a little race with a new body style F150 with a 5.4 it was kind of funny after I gave him taillight duty he got next to me and had his fat girlfriend to flash me . I tried to get a 6.0 Sroke to get some but he wasn't having none of it.

 

How is this programmer effecting the transmission shifting? And smoke, tell us about any smoke. Please.

 

As I already stated my truck does smoke more.But it doesn't smoke anything at all like my bro's powerchoke with the superchip.The tranny to me is no firmer.It raised the shiftpoints a bit.The thing that I don't like is the defueling before it shifts.I know its protecting the tranny,but it feels like a manual with a granny shifting it.I guess the shifts may be firmer,but with all the boost knocked out of it,you can't really tell.With all this said,I love it!

so general consensus is what? i like the price of the superchip seeing as how i cant afford to beef up the tranny right now. anyone pushin 37's with 3.73s and using it?

 

How does it compare to the dd triple dog? anyone ran both

 

Has anyone updated their superchips programmer yet, what updates are available?

Also, has anyone had any problems yet?

i just downloaded the stuff from the computer for the uodate and updated the tuner but i have not had time to plug it in to the truck. so for the life of me i have no idea what the updates are as they don't specify on the web site. so far no problems with it but i've only used the tow/perf mode never even tried the performance mode.
