Am I crazy or what? I would have sworn I read a post about someone getting a new superchip programer. Anyone seen this or know anything?

 

You are correct. Released for the 2005-2006. 2003-2004 coming in early 06 according to their tech email response. Still do not have a definitive answer on 04.5 325/600 version, because of different programming it might fall in a crack.

Inquiring minds want to know.... If your feedback is positive I will be ordering one. Do you have an intake/exhaust upgrade? I would like to stay stock if possible.

 

I called all over the place when I first bought my truck looking for a Superchip programmer and couldn't find one. I've had two fords previous to this dodge and ran two SCMTs and loved them. I figured it would be a good product for my truck, but like I said I couldn't find one. Now if they come with one for the 04.5 I might have to try even though I already have the Van Aaken.

Guys, It always amazes me that people buy these things with specs so vague it can't fail to meet promises and still offer nothing. Raises speed limit (tailwind only)...how much . Raises Rev Limit ....in All gears or only first....by how much? More mileage.....0.1 mpg downhill. All for only $550. This is made for gasser lovers or chevy guys. We need real specs, dynos, beta testers, statements of facts. Yikes, am I the only one that agrees with Missouri! ks. King D since you are going to be the first tester I know of we'd love to hear that this is what we all want ....give us the skinny as I need a new years present. ks

 

I inquired about a Superchips for a gasser I own(Dodge)and asked some of the GAS crowed.Comments were it wasn't worth $100 much less $380 or what not.Said it did little.But advetised to do a LOT.

 

Just installed mine today. Big difference and drives a lot better. Said to give the truck 123hp/280tq and 90hp/208tq for performance tow. I have an otherwise stock 05' 6 speed 3500 drw.

Yes, some smoke. Haven't driven it in daylight yet though. Night time seems to hide a lot of smoke.

I think my clutch doesn't like it much though. Seems in 5th/6th gear slips then grabs.

mine hasnt shown yet but when it does il let you know,as far as speed limit,i was told 130 mph plus,and that red line was raised in all gears to 3600,also there will be an extreme tune released soon that will be down loadable

 

Actually Superchips quoted me these hp/tq numbers at the rear wheels

138hp/283tq and tow/perf 95hp/205tq

Nope you're not crazy, we have shipped 4 or 5 of them and are awaiting customer feedback. The HP numbers are for real per Superchips's dyno etc. If you need one let us know.
