I think it is interesting that South Bend is making a double disc that is sprung & quiet. On my new truck, the clutch pedal feels like what I imagine it would on a Honda Civic or something along those lines. And I like it. Does more holding power always come with heavier pressure plate? It seems that a harder to push pedal means a pressure plate being held tighter to the flywheel. But a double has so much more surface area.
Thanx.

All I know is that I made the mistake of going down I95 yesterday on the way home and it was slow going for the whole 22 miles. My legs were both tired after an hour and a half of that!!! It would be nice to have a "traffic gear" where you wouldn't need the pedal until you reached a certain speed....
Dodgezilla,
Are you anywhere close to downtown DC to pickup a couple of slugs to use the HOV? I left DC at 4:30 yesterday and made it to Dale Blvd at 4:55 using the HOV. It was just another 1/2 hour on Dale Blvd.....
