Straight through muffler

Which straight through muffler do you guys like? I just want minimum back pressure. I don't want any more noise than necessary.
Currently have 4 inch exhaust but the muffler isn't straight through. I'm also thinking about adding a resonator while at it just in case.

If you like quite, I'm very happy with my 30" Magnaflow.

Thanks Lark. I'll look into that one.
You're an iron butter? My hat is off to you guys. What's your ride of choice?

My IBA certification was done on a KTM 950 (believe I was the first to do an Iron Butt on that bike). What an amazing bike to run nearly 1,100 miles in one day on the interstate and follow it up the next day with off-road mountain passes in Colorado, elevations of over 14,000 feet and freezing rain! Later I took it on an 8 day, 5,000 mile trip across the eastern U.S. (nearly all back roads) and over the top of the Great Lakes in Canada. Now that my son is nearly 6, I've almost completely given up riding in exchange for a ski boat so we can all get away together. The Cummins was purchased to pull the ski boat, and now I'm getting all caught up in the performance potential of this truck. It just never ends!

THere's many nany threads on this. I went to a 40" Nelson, 4" straight in and out, quiet at an idle, nice deep tone when you get into it, and only $67 (CDN) from the local Cummins store.
Pics in my gallery.

Thanks guys.

So I'm wondering if there is much of a difference in back pressure between a straight through and a non straight through muffler.

If you're not worried about noise/drone...the Aero mufflers are getting great reviews and I really like mine (minus the drone when towing)...

The Donaldson or Nelson mufflers are also very popular and getting great reviews as well. They are very quiet as well. Another muffler you might look at is the Rokktech Silent Might muffler...its a bit more $$$ than the Donaldson or Nelson mufflers. I'm looking into getting one...

Good info guys. That Rokktech looks nice. I didn't even know about that one. I think I'm leaning in that direction now.

I went with a 24" FloPro. It's 8" Round, 4" Inlet x 4" Outlet, and absolutely straight through. Because the original muffler is offset, you have a little fab to do to get ends meet, but any good muffler shop can help you with this. It has a nice throaty sound under acceleration and no "in-cab" droning at cruising speeds. I am satisfied with my choice.
