I installed the M090535 today and it is peaceful. Maybe a little too peaceful. I went from a 5" str8 pipe to this enormous 51" muffler. It may just be the fact that it is more quiet but it doesnt seem to have the throttle response it did before. Iv had my programer of for warranty work so I am going now to put it on and see what that has to offer. The best thing is the drone is gone and I can hear the radio again. Is this a sign you are getting older???

From Donaldson, it actually isn't 5 inches all the way through. It necks down to probably 4 in the middle but it is easily modified. i think most guys are just ramming a gas bottle cap down through and opening up the restriction. I wouldnt really call it a baffle, its just a neck down that I beleive is designed to redirect some of the flow into the muffler part instead of through the middle. As for the sound, its deeper than the straight through one I took off which I had installed in the "quiet" direction. its not really any quieter around town, but doesnt seem to drone on the highway at higher rpm so we'll see. I would not say this Donaldson is anything near stock, but like I said, doesnt seem to drone.
