I'm looking for measured precise numbers for all 3rd gen turbos, 03-07 5.9L

HY9 (early 03 or maybe just SO's??) Need info


HE341(03.5-04 or maybe HO's??) Need info


HE351cw (04.5-07) 60mm compressor inducer/ 60mm turbine wheel/ 19mm wastegate port diameter. 67lbs/min corrected to Garrett test standards.


Any measurements you guys have would be great, maybe this could turn into a stock turbo measurement sticky!

 

I don't know the specs, but FWIW, my 04 CA emissions 235hp SO had the HE341

 

HY-9 was on the 24 Valve motors, not the common rails.

 

As far as I know, the the HY9 was only available on the common rail. The HY35 is the 9cm housing turbo that came on 01-02 automatic trucks. That said, the HY35 is arguably the same turbo as the HY9 except the wastegate could be a different size and the wastegate spring could be a tad stiffer.

Thanks Soulezoo, I'm glad to hear a case of an 04' SO that dispels the HE341=HO myth.

So.... no one has a turbo laying around that they could mic?

 

How many cm is the exhaust housing on the he351cw?
