Installed the steering column gauge mount along with an Autometer Phantom boost and pyro gauge last week and I’d have to say that I am very happy with the results. I like the fact that I can see the speedo and tack while watching the gauges.

So, now that the gauges are installed it was time to test them out.

Max EGT 1050 *F - WOT
Max Boost 23 PSI – WOT

Here were my results while making a run to Kalamazoo with a 5K load.

EGT 625-650 *F @ 70 mph
Boost 8-11 PSI @70 mph
Cruise on 70 mph going up a slight incline EGT 900 *F / Boost 21 PSI

Next step, saving my pennies for a PDQ Volumizer.

Post install pic available in my photo gallery.

Installed and working

My Di-Pricol Gauges are all installed and working fine.
However, if you are considering the steering column mount, I would not recomend Di-Ppicol because with the connector on the back of the EGT Gauge, it is a little to deep to fit.
The ridged tube to the back of the Boost is also a bit of a problem.
Having said that, it was worth to trouble to get gauges that match the factory gauges so well.
Also, if you use the steering column mount, and glue it to the stock upper shell, be sure to leave enough slack in everything so you can pull the gauges out to replace bulbs. I put the Boost on the SRT-10 A-Pillar because, with that ridged tube I dont thing you could pull it out for bulb replacement. I had to put EGT and Tranny Temp on steering column even though the EGT wont go quite all the way in.

Single Pod Steering Column Mount?

The Autometer web site says they now have a single gauge pod steering column mount available for the 3rd gen. Anyone using it yet? How about a picture?

Thx

I switched from the triple A pillar pod to the steering column pod and would not go back. No more blind spot, gauges are easier to read, and IMO doesn't block the tach or speedo.

There are two torx screws underneath that hold the upper cover top the lower one. It comes apart easy after taking the screws out.
