Installed the pmcr thursday and have noticed the following: First the boost elbow supplied from tst provides more boost even on 0/0 with a max of 25-26 compared to 22-23 stock elbow. 1/0 which is timing only is definately noticable improvement over stock power. Engine seems more responsive on accel and decel and makes shifting to the next gear easier for some reason. Just does not seem like you have to wait for it to wind down like stock. The negative is sounds rougher than stock when idling. This may just be me being paranoid of the box doing harm to my engine that I want to last forever. I have some 70-100 mph runs and the times went from 15 second in pure stock with max boost at 22.5 and max egt at 1150 form to 9 seconds with exhaust, air and pmcr on 4/4 and max boost at 32 and max egt at 1250. I tried 5/5 for with just a couple of into and out of the throttle to find the boost maxing out my 35 psi gauge and said this feels like something that could cost some money in replacement parts. It almost seems that 4/4 is powerful enough to slip a clutch, so don't know if it will be usuable either. Along with the engine shifting easier it sounds much better with to, seems to quiet the mbrp exhaust a bit, kind of smoothes it out the harsh tone and makes what I considered a big bore rice sound turn into a quick burst of rumble seemingly quieted by the slight black smoke puffing out the exhaust tip. I haven't check for codes yet my box is in the low 1300's for serial #.
