So to get the stacks to come up through the center of the box do you have to go under the frame or is there clearance between frame and box..

Any one with pics of under neath ?????

if stacks are installed what is the average temp on the pipe? and is it safe to put flammables?

Why doesn't anyone run them down the side of the truck? I was going to do that but sold the truck before I got around to it. I was going to use 6" stacks 108" long and that would make them start at the front fender and turn out under the dually fender on the back. Using the same y-pipe that the big trucks use to split the stacks.

it is hot enough that it will melt a plastic grocery store bag(or any soft plastic) but doesn't do anything to the paint. gas or whatever will be fine towards the back as long as the bed is open, it might get hot enough under a tonneau cover to be a problem. As long as it can't touch the stacks you should be allright, the Toolbox in mine separates stuff from them pretty well
