Need help deciding. Whats the best stack with crazy larry for hp with DIY CP3and ddp 90's? Also want to be safe on the pressure side of things. thanks

Yeah I have the xzt and it WILL NOT stack with larry anymore

 

why not does it still have the timing program in it?

 

no. I sent it off to get the throttle position sensor taken off due to surging at 2300 rpm's as well as the timing. Got it back and cant see more than 30lbs of boost on larry or performance and doesnt even feel like the chips on there. But on tow it does and I can see over 30. Also on tow while at idle a good haze of smoke comes out like I have big injectors or something. The only thing quad said was "We cant fix it b/c bullydog is doing something wierd". I always had excellent service but after that Im going a different route. Excellent Excellent box when it works and I dont want to get rid of it but he said "Sell it or sell the bullydog for something compatable, or go back to the surging program."

 

Sell it and get a Smarty Chet....its the summertime, and money is rolling in......

 

Yeah the Quad Boost Fooler/XZT and Bully Dog Triple Dog don't play well together sometimes. I had the same problems with my BDTD and Quad stuff. My boost would be right sometimes and then others I couldn't get it over 30-31 psi. I just went with all Quad stuff then but I really like the Crazy Larry programming.......

 

Yep. Me and a buddy have had these problems for almost a year now. Ive tested several different Quadzilla tunes and eventually gave up. I also had it happen with an MP8.

 

How about hold off on the sticks and get a turbo. I know some dont like it but I LOVE my smarty and you should be able to stack with it, OR you could try and MP8 with your CL and see how that does.

I think with the DL and sticks you are gona have a lot of heat, or did I miss a thread where you got a turbo?

 

Check out the VA 3.1. I am not sure if it has timing or not, I do believe it is only pressure. Mine runs great together.. BDTD on Scarry larry and The 3.1 on setting 1. But even with a modded CP3 it will drain the rail. I have II 3 flows and their cp3... it cannot keep up.

 

Hes got a turbo already, I think....one of my friends went with him to get it and get it put on. I havent talked to Chet since school ended, summer is busy for both of us.
