Are you going to sell a kit when you figure it out? Or just post plans for us to follow.

Actually, all I really want is the shifter ****!

If I can get a machine shop to make the adapter for a good price, I would consider making a kit....

And I dont think the ball will swap of as easy as we would want... i will check when I get my stock shifter in tommorow

From what I've been told, the ball has entirely different threads, so changing it would take some metal work that's beyond my capabilities (which aren't much).

SH - nah, I like the SRT-10 ball... those shifters don't do much for me.

Would be nice if a 16mm x 1.5 to 10mm x 1.5 adapter was available so the SRT-10 or any other T56 **** could be used on the NV5600.

Why not fill it with JB Weld, then drill and tap the thread you need.

Yeah, I thought about JB Weld also.
If I can find a cheap T56 ball I just might try it.

16mm x 1.5 to 10mm x 1.5
you might be able to find a keensert thread repair thing to do that, or maybe a helicoil threadded into the shift ball to take up the size difference...?

i was just looking at mcmaster.com and i found an insert that was 10x1.5 internal and 16x2.0 external, so with a tap to chase the 1.5 threads to 2.0 threads, it could work... insert is like $3.50 a piece
