one of my buddys has an 04.5 with TST r37, 4" straight piped, Billet Trans

he seems to have some excessive rattle with the settings down. what else can be rattling like that? he usually runs the settings up high on the r37.

could he have maybe damaged an injector?

 

See what happens with the TST completely removed. If it still does it, check for codes.

 

Does he have the bypass plug?

Removing the TST isnt a HUGE deal but it isnt the funnest thing I have done. If you need a bypass plug I could find mine and let you barrow it if you need.

 

what is the bypass plug for? i dont know much about the tst r37.

 

It bypasses the box without having to remove it from the truck.

If you put the plug in and it still does it then either you got another problem OR its the wireing harness. It doesnt sound like the wireing harness but you never know.

With out the plug you cant really isolate the box from the harness and vice versa.
