Smarty TNT studdering/poping
Smarty TNT studdering/poping
I bought a Smarty a couple of weeks ago and love it. Last week I finally got around to uploading the TNT software and now I it studders. If I lug it, it won't do it but if my RPM's are up and I get on the go pedal it stumbles and pops a few times then goes like heck.
I'm not upset, I love the Smarty. Just wondering what is causing it.
Thanks, George

Either run only on level 1 for the TNT or go to the REVO.

Looks like he is also working with the old filter housing mounted stock lift pump... that also contributes to the problem at the higher power levels. An arson kit or DIY cp3 mod would also be beneficial to get that "just a little more" fuel that is needed.
Sorry, I forgot to mention I have a Fass95 and a rail pressure guage. The pressures look fine, rail and fuel pressure doesnt drop when it does this.
running level 2 now was on level 4. both on TNT.
I was running the regular smarty program on 9 with out a problem.
I thought I put those mods in my signature. they are now
Thanks George

Weird...sounds like your draining the rail but you said your pressure is good. Whats funny is that I dont have any fuel mods and I run it on TNT 9 and the truck will do it, but thats usually a run from 0-80, dunno if it will handle all the way thru a 1/4. Its crazy how different each individual truck is when it comes to mods and mpg.
