hey guys have a smarty pod for my 04 auto..am getting a built tranny put in on monday getting gorend billet triple disc and vb with red eagle clutches and kevlar bands the works oh ya and billet flexplate... i was thinking about downloading the tnt or revo setting but what does it change the levels to levels 1 thru 9 for either one? thx for any input

 

I would recommend doing some searches on "smarty tnt for 03-04"
There are plenty of posts of 03-04 users having issues with TNT on those years. I have a 2004.5 and have liked all of the versions of Smarty..

I just know many have had popping under full throttle runs and appears to be a timing issue. Some have got around this from using the higher Timing levels of the TNT which reduces the overall timing of the truck.

The big difference between the Revo and TNT is the Revo level 1 starts at 40hp or so, the TNT starts at 100hp. You will need a bigger lift pump, injectors, modified CP3 and a bigger turbo to get the full benefits out of the TNT.

I was able to get around the infamous timing 'pop' on the TNT by running timing level 3. With the Revo don't run timing level 4.

Because most of us with '03-04 models experience a 'pop' during WOT with Revo timing 4 (most advanced timing).
