Smarty timing???
I'm still confused. So default (0) is the most timing on odd # catchers? Is stock more or less timing than aftermarket inj.?Could someone please just list them in order from most timing to least!
0 is the same as #2 on odd numbers
0 is the same as #1 on even numbers
All zero does is make it simple to reset it back to default
stock (#1) is less timing than aftermarket inj. (#2)
#3 is less timing than #2 but still has more timing than stock (#1)
#4 is the least amount of timing to be used with nos
THIS IS FOR TNT ONLY--REVO HAS DIFFERENT SETTINGS

I hear ya, I played around a lot last weekend with different tunes and settings and I ended up going back to the 5.1 and I could use a couple more degrees myself but right now don't have any way of adding it. Hopefully Marco will add a couple more levels of timing to choose from because I don't think 4 levels is going to be enough. Like yours, my truck likes timing and some don't but 2* can make a big difference.
Have you tried timing on default and then set it on #2? (odd #'s) 2 is suppose to be default but my truck seems to run smoother on 2. May just be in my head but was just wondering if you noticed a difference.
marco said on odd #'s #2 is default and on even #'s 1 is default. All the zero is for is to make it easier for people to reset everything to default settings. So if your out tuning your truck and you forgot what setting was default all you have to do is hit zero.
BTW I'm running out of hairs to get crossed

straight from Marco,
By definition for all adjustable options the default is # 2. EXCEPT for the timing. The timing has two defaults. # 1 for the
even numbered SW's ( stock timing ) # 2 for the odd numbered SW ( advanced timing ). To avoid confusion and to help the customer
in returning all levels to default ( if need be ), key # 0 is used to return Smarty back to the default levels.

ya, it's confusing. Have you tried #2 yet? Try it on your truck and let me know if you can tell a difference. I think mine actually runs smoother on 2 but like I said it could all be in my head. The timing seems to be the same between the two but I'm curious to see if anyone else notices.
