Smarty Throwing Codes

I just downloaded the Stock injector w/ aftermarket turbo program so I removed my Quad Boost Fooler because the website said the Smarty does boost fooling.. On the highway, the truck went into limp mode and threw a skim key code and a turbo overboost code?

Any ideas what would cause this? Do I need to put my boost fooler back on there?

My commander only said my boost was at 44psi.... (silver 62) Does anyone know what they are wastegated at from II? It may be the commander only reads 44psi? Hope not cause I'll send it back if it does???

The highest it will read on mine is 44. I don't know what the Silver 62 is set at from II? I thought it was around 48, but not for sure.... I know Quad is working on a boost sensor that will read up to 100, but it cost extra??? I may just go back to a mechanical guage

X 2 on mechanical gauges - the electronic/digital ones are great, but I prefer the reliability & accuracy of mechanical when you start fooling around with the ECM & sensor bus.

It is not that the Commander will not read anymore, it is that the MAP sensor will not process more than 44psi, 45psi on some trucks.

We do have an analog adapter which is basically a new map sensor. It looks a lot like the boost fooler but you run a hose into it like a gauge and then hook it to 12v and ground and you have a MAP sensor that reads 0-102psi.

I used to think the same way, but I have much more confidence in my SPA digital gauges than the Autometers I had previously.

I had the same problem more or less. I am running the aftermarket turbo/injector SW. Thought I would try it the other day with out the boost fooler and it didn't work well at all. It would defuel at 42psi. Because I normally run 54 psi at WOT on #7. Needless to say the boost fooler is back on.

Quad,
Is that part on your website ready to order? I'm not sure how much boost I'm producing, and that could be really bad for head gaskets.
