which smarty software to DL

Hey guys, I was wondering which version everybody is running in a stock 2007 Auto 5.9 Truck. I was running Beta 4.4 and I switched to Version 4.11B, Data: 2.11A but I find that I have a huge amount of timing rattle when I step on it (3/4 throttle) with SW5 loaded. It sounds like I have a coffee can with marbles in it under the hood. I found that Beta 4.4 was great on fuel economy and power. I had no timing issues with this program. The only reason I am interested in changing is I'd like to see if I can get more fuel economy and less power level for winter driving. I am going on 3,000 mile trip through the mountains and need a good program.

Should I try loading a program for after market injectors? I heard this will have less timing?

Thanks

Paul

The aftermarket injector program will have less timing. Doesn't matter which product (other than smarty) you choose... more timing = more rattle. Less timing=less power, less mileage + less rattle.

4.11 supposed to have less timming that the previous 4.10 and havent seen too many complaints on it (as there were for 4.10)....you'll be fine on 4.11, but be careful with beta 4.4 it's a stock trans shreder if you are not careful...

Yah, 4.4 is can definitely get ugly if you abuse it but if you drive conservatively its perfect I just wish it had the different power levels.

This maybe a stupid question but can you get timing rattle from using an additive? The reason I ask is because I just switched from Howes to Fppr Total power. I never had this kind rattle before and the only things I changed was the program and the fuel conditioner.

thanks

what, there's a 2 hp difference between level 5 and level 9! Not enough adjustability? It's comming with the race version....hopefully soon...although i dont think i want any other levels...i leave it on 7 and it's perfect.

Thanks for the replies. I think I might switch back to 4.4. I just doesn't sound good when you get in the power.
