Has the Smarty Revolution replaced the Smarty Sr.? Check out the online store here. I'm getting ready to buy and want to make sure I'm getting the latest version.

 

I think revolution is refering to the software its tuneable. You still need to pick the right module though such as S-06 or S-67 these are Sr modules. Pick the one for the year of truck you have.

 

Sr. refers to the number and horsepower levels of that version. The Smarty Sr. has 10 power levels, from half power to 170 hp. This is distinct from the Smarty Jr. which has 3 power levels. The Revolution designator explains the type of tuning software loaded on to the Smarty. The Smarty Sr. Revolution (Revo) comes with the same 10 power levels but allows you to customize several different parameters with in those ten softwares, such as rail pressure, timing, and torque managment. From what I can tell, the Sr. is being sold with the Revo software already loaded. I believe you can update old Sr. units with the Revo software. The point is if you buy a Sr., you are getting the Revo software. Hope this helps.

Smarty Sr. with POD is the latest. It will have the std. Revo software in it.

 

OK. If i put all the responses together it makes some sense. The online store on this website does not refer to any sr designations, But when I click on my selection they call it Revo s-06 POD. So this is what I am ordering now. By process of elimination it has to be the one we are talking about.

Can't wait to get it. I drove a ton of trucks before buying mine. Only one had a programmer, an edge juice w/ attitude monitor. The previous owner did not even buy a probe for the EGT! Never the less I played with the settings and even the lower ones had outstanding response.

 

Yeap, the S-06 Pod is the Smarty Sr. with Pod and std. Revo tune.
