smarty question

I have ordered a smarty for my truck. I was wondering if there will still be evidence that my predator was on the truck after using the smarty?

There may be. Key cycles is what I would guess.

But it cant fix them to what "should" be there... it has no way of knowing.. it just goes off what it saw when first installed.... Just like if you have a Jr, take it off for a OEM reflash, and put it back on the keycount will be much different, but will be where Dodge thinks it should be.

That was kind of what I was thinking. But if it does retain the key cycles to where the you couldn't tell the predator has been on there, then the smarty is truly an amazing device. Maybe Bob or Marco will chime in.

My puck bit the dust and diablosport warrantied it with 2 weeks left on the warranty. Instead of getting a new one the company where I bought it gave me store credit. I used the credit to buy a quadzilla xzillaraider.

Chris,
If the Smarty software is for an aftermarket turbo I am fairly sure Marco has settings to allow high boost without setting codes. No boost fooler needed with the correct software.

Incorrect Marco Can only allow the ecm to boost full up to 44psi, anything over that for 3 sec or more and it will send the truck limp mode. Ask Bob himself. I have first hand expierience with this with a box that does no boost fool Like the puck While sled pulling.

Good to know.
I had the TST before Smarty and was told that it did boost fooling. From reading it does not specify the 44lb level either just says something about using aftermarket turbo software to allow higher boost levels. My TST provides fooling for my config. I have never needed over 40 lbs with my current setup. I will definately make not of 44lb as the MAX for Smarty fooling.

Thanks for the correction..
