CFM+ and SC Flashpaq

Going with the CFM and I am thinking of the grid heater delete while I am there.....I live in Florida and I can't believe I reaaly need this but to be honest I don't know. Looking at other post and pictures it looks fairly restrictive but does anyone have a definite this is good or bad????

You should have no issues eliminating your grid heaters beside the CEL coming on possibly. This happens to some, not everyone.

Hey where in FL are you, im in miami. i have heard there is a way to keep the CEL off when you take out the grid. im thinking of doing it too. here in FL you dont need it, i have seen people in 20* weather with no grid start fine.

take the grid out it does not help starting it is to reduce white smoke on start up. on 06's the ecm monitors the relay controll current when the heater's are called for if you remove the relay just place a 16 ohm 10 watt resistor across the two small black wires that use to activate the relay i am not positive the 04.5 do this also but i think they do
