I am one of the guys that TQ3 and 4 is much stronger than TQ2 and I also have 5.08A. It makes me a little nervous because TQ3 and 4 have ALOT more low end than 2 and they also have more low end than the original SW. Right now I am running TQ2 with my stock auto because I am not sure if 3 or 4 might be rated more than just MILD TQ management and until we find out from Bob or Marco I will stay on the safe side. Although TQ4 really is nice and it make the truck much more fun to drive.

I just sent an email to MADS to see if they can shed some light. Will post up when I get a response. Now I'm a little curious, I haven't really messed with mine a whole lot and would rather not do any damage either.

Funny this is brought up cause I've ran Tq2 on the REVO and it was nice and agressive for a stock truck (auto) But after upgrading to REVO/POD I've noticed that is was better then stock but not the same as prior. Right after update I towed my TB and put it to Tq4 do not to strain this too much and it seem way too aggressive I mean real aggressive, real fast tight shifts, didn't hold gear long enough for towing. So I went with stock Tq. But after I went back to Tq2 for every day driving and still seemed less then prior. I just chaulked it up to me hurting my tranny while towing. Not pointing blame just interesting if something had changed unknowingly. That would be cool though 0-4 4 being the most at least for us simple minded folks. I'll Have to try other setting and feel if theres a greater or lesser feel.
Got to love electronics so unpredictable.

So I switched to TQ2 today.. and like you all are seeing its less aggressive.

I called and talked with Bob. He is going to talk to Marco and see if something got switched with the PoD.. I remember 2 being more aggressive with 4 when i first got revo in September..

Quick question....Im running sw1, tm3, tq2 and I like it. Is it safe to run with the auto or is it still too aggressive to be safe?

So far this winter I have been mainly running SW1, TM2, TQ3 no issues. It all depends on your driving habits. Boosted launches, smokey burnouts will kill a transmission on any setting. Drive with some discipline and you can run on SW3 with no issues. You should be able to push your timing up to TM2 without issue, should help with MPG and EGT's.

MTC I drive pretty mild no boost lauches or nothing. But yes I do have plans on tranny up grades. I've never had trans slippage yet or so I don't think so. Only pull in SW1 stock tq. But it is hard to control one's self every once in a while when on sw3.

It would be nice to know what's really going on but really no biggy. 1,2,3,4, is the way the programs should have been set up in the first place. Now if they could do that with both Tq and TM.

Seems like they set it to begin with. Where in the world is 3 less than 2.
