Well folks I sent an email off to MADS tech support and this is what they say.

we have discovered an inperfect setting for a few truck models about the "towing" level having too much power respect the designed one (100 hp instead of 60).
The new software update for Smarty JR is currently under test, that also corrects the towing level power.
Just yesterday we have received our new dyno bench in order to double check all the power levels.

So with out making a direct statement which is understandable I think we can look forward to a soiftware update soon. Thanks MADS for the fast reply.

Hey Bob, if the new lower smoke program is loaded onto a jr. can it be switched over to the original with more smoke if wanted

Bob. . many thanks. . Figured something was in the works but having just got my JR loaded I needed some clarification. Have seen a few other threads lately that also wondered about this one. I will likely leave it set at #2 "the Perf tow" level but now that I know what I've got I can manage my left foot a bit better to give my clutch a break.

Will you folks be sending some sort of update message out when it's time?
