Hey guys I'm new to the diesel world. I got a 05 5.9 2500 6 speed. I have the smarty jr I've been playing with the options. What's the best tune for pulling and mpg? I been runnings sw2 but not sure what to run on tq or tm level.. any help would be appreciated! I run stock tires and truck is all stock I have 4 inch exhaust from turbo back. Any suggestions?

 

I have the s-06 pod and I tow with mine on sw5 with timing on 2 and everything else stock.I also have the six speed with a SB clutch.

 

I have the 5.14b version smarty jr pod trying to figure out what tune to run so I don't melt anything and whats best for fuel mileage and towing its 6 speed stock clutch

 

My understanding (and it is what I run) is SW3 straight. I t has the most timing etc... and yields the best mileage.
Just go easy on the throttle to save your clutch.
Would advise you to get gauges for your engine protection, if only to watch EGT`s.

 

This is how I run my Jr also. I do have the SB clutch also.
