Six Gun ques.

I just installed a Six gun on a 2004, it seems to make more power when you get on it, but It doesn't do any thing when you turn the switch. I'm used to an Edge Comp, under light throttle when you turn it up you can immediatly fell the differance. Is the Six Gun working properly?

Had the same prob, Banks told me to get on the highway and get up to 60 and hold it at that speed for one min. Letting the TC lock up in the tranny. Then drop down to 50 and turn the overdrive off and roll at that speed for another min and then turn the overdrive back on and it will fix it. Prob is that the 6 gun is not recognizing the TC and it returns itself back to stock. Look on the six gun and see if there is a flashing red light on the side. It should blink green then a number of red, thenm a short green, then another number of red, then a long green. looking like this. LONG GREEN, RED RED RED, SHORT GREEN, RED RED RED, THEN A LONG GREEN. Giving a 3-3 code, meaning that the 6 gun is not identifing the TC on the tranny. If this does not help you, call banks tech support.

Sorry, it was a 4-3 code that I had, not a 3-3.

It fuels off of boost.

1-3 are reallllllly mild.

4 is good, but weeker bottom end.

5 is runs hard

6 is just FAST!!!!!

Also, when you go 4 to 6, it will take about 2-3 seconds, and then you'll hear the engine sound change and it start to take off

4-3 is the normal, unprogrammed code meaning that the Six-Gun needs to be programmed for what type of tranny your truck has.

Thanks,
I'm used to the way the Edge Comp works, you push the button, you feel the power.
I guess it's all the safety features built into the 6 Gun that makes it feel milder.

Yeah, did all the set up and programing, just isn't as fast to respond as a Comp does.
The customer is really happy!!!! with it though. I asked him to give me a call and let me know how he likes it, he barely got out of site when the phone rang.
