The rain cap on mine so far has eliminated any soot issues. Rained 3 days so far since it has been on and I drove for hours in the rain and parked in the rain. No soot on start up at all so far.

The stack settings I guessed at that day were pretty bad. I only had three runs to get a dialin. That first run was pretty good for the stack combo I had loaded, 12.9s ET, so I did not change it. But most other runs I had trouble spooling the turbo and no top end. But this is history, I have since found a much better stack and option settings. Should be back around that 12.6s ET now or better.
