love the stack tho it's worth the noise and the soot mess..
Well it will be very difficult to remove the Aero and replace with something else especially anything longer than 30". I will try a few things, but for a while I will just live with the volume. I am hard of hearing anyway so won't bother me much, but passengers may want to jump out after a while.

BTW the rain cap got a good test this morning. Hard rain all morning while driving. Worked perfect and hopefully no soot all over this afternoon. I will get a short video of it in operation when it stops raining.

I have the turn out style and I don't really get any soot on my truck. I did move it to the side of the bed instead of straight up. I have a pic. of the side view. I could up load a pic of inside the bed if any one wants to see.

I wanted the aussie style but I found this one on ebay.

I used Krylon BBQ/Stove High Heat spray paint. I sanded and steel wooled the pipe until it was very smooth, then cleaned with paint thinner and then vinegar. The spray paint itself would splatter a lot and I did a number of coats with steel wool in between. I don't know how well it will hold up, but time will tell. The paint should get heat set pretty quick.

The base mount I copied idea from RedRam410 on his install. I cut a steel plate 7"x8"x1/8" out of scrap I had in the garage. Cut a hole just large enough for the 6"to5" adapter to fit into, but not go through. Then welded the bottom side of the plate to the adapter. Used JB Weld bead around the top for looks only. Then drilled the 4 holes to secure to the bed.

Man it did clear up nicely, but I have been working 7 to 7 everyday and just have not had time get the camera setup to do it. Friday I will be at Diesel Innovations in Houston for the DHRA Texas Diesel National Pre-Race party. I know I will get videos then if not before.

Oh I forgot, after the rain stopped I did inspect the stack and see if any soot at startup. No soot at startup, you could tell where the rain had it the inside of the rain cap while open and some black water ran down the stack with just a little getting to the clamp. Sprayed it with Windex and wiped right off.

I know, I know. My Staxx Clamp is way overboard, but like I said I just couldn't help myself. I figured if it was screwed up maybe nobody would notice if they are looking at the clamp.

These http://www.hdiesel.com/productdetail.asp?ID=316 from Huckstorf Diesel are a lot cheaper and just as functional.

You can always fab one out of scrap and weld or stap to the stack(s) probably a lot cheaper.
