I know..I know....I have been going like crazy on my Jeep project....so many projects so little time
I still need a stack clamp..it's kinda hard to find one for a 7" stack...I really want a Staxx Clamp like triton put on his truck..but the guy is not making 7"ers yet

so do I wait for the good clamp or do I just get it in with a Grandrock clamp???

 

Get the Grand Rock now and then when the Staxx clamp comes out get that.

 

That is huge.....Are you going to paint it or leave it the raw aluminum look?

Just put that baby in with what ever clamp you can get your hands on....

I am going to try painting it with some high temp Gloss black...but if it bubbles I am going to HPC it they told me they could to inside and out for under $100 bucks.

 

I cant wait to see your write up and the final install as I want to do the same thing. Seeing all these stacks lately has givin me the bug to do it. I like the look of the single too!

 

Just get HPC'd the first time that way it's done.....

I wanna try gloss black first. HPC only has semi gloss and when I looked at it, it was not to shiny...because it's semi...they can do it either way it wont cost more to have them do it later they sandblast either way.

I got off the phone w/ Grand Rock yesterday and I was talking to the guy about getting a (scuffed or scratched) aluminium 5" stack for like $35, I had the same idea of getting it painted a gloss Black to go with my White truck.

What is HPC'd?

Yep when mine showed up at wide open all the guys where sittin there eatin lunch and i busted one out nothing was said everyone just started shakin there heads
