The mold is ready to go to the thermoformers. However, they shut the shop down for two weeks over the Holidays. It will be done in January.

Have a great Christmas everyone and thanks for being patient...sort of.

Any updates? Maybe one that's more specific than "done in January?"

It's okay if there's another delay. There's way too much snow here to do any work on the truck anyway.

Newbie here. I was looking at this post with interest. I've had my truck for 4 days and already looking for things to mode. A 2 gauge pillar with handle is exactly what I'm looking for. Scotty, hope to see something soon.

I am getting very close now. It will be a two gauge add a pod that attaches to the SRT-10 A Pillar. You will be able to use it for two gauges or a gauge and a couple of switches. It will fill the gap between the door and the a pillar...theres nothing there to get in the way.

I am working on the finer details of fitment and attachment.
I need to alter the base for the mold to incorporate the contour for it to attach onto the SRT-10 A pillar. The more I do to it now the easier it is to trim for fitment and the less hassle for the end user.

I am looking at two different ways to attach. One is plastic rivets but then its close to permanent so I am also looking at threaded plastic screws. I have to make sure all this works well before I release it. I am a couple of weeks away.

Thanks to everyone for being patient. And thanks to the not so patient for pushing me a bit more.

I am trying to figure out if I should be shipping these black or painted. Shipping painted may not be the best way. Theres different ways to use this pod, one gauge and switches, 2 gauges, and I see where the TST and some other digital readout displays will fit it too.

Thanks Scotty, keep up the hard work. You told me what I needed to know. I'd prefer painted to match the SRT-10 Pillar, but that MHO. Thanks again

The concern I have with shipping it painted is when you make your holes for fitment of your configuration of gauges and/or switches. I have seen it chip off. I think it would be better to go unpainted until you are finished the end user alterations. Make sense?
I could price the paint here but the last can I got was $11.00 Canuck plus tax. for a little can.

Scotty,
Post some pictures when you get it done or whenever you can.

I assume from your post above, a person will have to purchase a SRT-10 pillar mount and then add your pod to it. Is that correct? Not sure exactly how that is going to look.

Excellent! I was just about to add another boost gauge, and just use a bullet mount on top of the dash, to the right of my SRT-10 pillar. This sounds like it's worth waiting for.

And yeah, I agree - ship them un-painted, and let us get our own paint from our local dealer (part # BP-05010128AA).

Closer all the time. Got the base on the mold for final forming yesterday. Sanded last night.
Primer and sealant today.
Thermoform on Thurs or Fri. I hope this is the last alteration needed. However, any changes now to fine tune will be very small.
