Question Shocks?

How many miles with original shocks? What to use as replacement. No lift kit, some mild off road. Mostly laneways and dirt roads. Nothing serious like rock-crawling.

Thanks

I think I had about 500 miles on the truck when the stockers were replaced, and one of them was already leaking.

I replaced mine at 35000 with Bilsteins.
Mostly highway driving.
Check out http://www.shockwarehouse.com
They have several to choose from.
The Bilsteins are 250 and change shipped with no shipping charge.

FYI, these aren't the same Bilsteins that most people run. Shockwarehouse does not carry the silver/zinc 5100's. You can get the 5100's with "better" valving for a couple bucks more.

I replaced mine somewhere around 35,000 miles I believe, with Rancho 9000 adjustables. They are a great replacement shock for these trucks under normal driving conditions. You can adjust them up or down for firmness depending on your load too.
