Question Sensor?

So if I put a BHAF on my truck what do I do with the sensor out at the airbox? Am I missing something? Looks like the sensor is mounted in the airbox right. I'm also considering an AFE, what happens with the sensor then? LCH

The AFE Stage I or Stage II kits have a place and instructions to mount the sensor, as do all of the full air intake kits I have seen. If you rig up just a BHAF then you need to make a place to mount the sensor in approximately same place in the air flow.

you don't need to have the sensor in the air flow stream. it is not a mass air flow sensor. it is an intake air temp and baro sensor.. i ran almost a year with a bhaf and that sensor just tied out of the way with no problems... i now have it in my piping and i don't notice any difference between how it performs now in the pipe and with it out of the pipe...

in this pic you can see how my sensor is currently in the piping [yeah, tiewraps are mickey mouse]
