I have a 3 year contract with Sirus Radio. Have it in my old truck, little box sucked onto window and wires feeding in from magnetic roof antenna , plus the 12v feed in from cig lighter. Always a hassel with wires all over the place.
I can't figure out by reading the book if this new truck has a satalite radio feature or not. Book doesn't tell me much but does confuse me real good !!
It's has the 6 CD changer, has the blue tooth for my phone that I got working, just don't know if it has Sat capabilities. If not I wonder if it could be upgraded to it or if there is some kind of system where you don't have to have 10 yards of wire hanging all over?
If I can't listen to The Road House I'll have to sell this truck !!

I fyou have factory installed Sirius, you will have a black "antenna" mounted in the back center of the roof. Your window sticker will also indicate if you paid for it.

90% of the stock headunits are sirius ready. I dont like dealing with wires and mounting crap to the window so i have a lifetime subscription and it is integrated into my stock headunit so i dont have anything extra in my interior.

I know that the 2006's still come with sirius and usually a 1 year plan to it, so i would check with your dealer about getting it put in.

The button just to the right of the volume **** (on the unit) will select thru Sirius if you have it. I forget what is printed on the button. On mine it will cycle between CD & Sirius. I have been listening to either Sirius or CD, don't pay much attention to what buttons I hit anymore .

do they make a head unit for the 04's with sirius?

What is the 3 letter code on your head unit. More than likely your factory head unit can run XM or sirius.
