Which is safer? Bully dog or quadzilla?
I have a stock truck, 2005 4x4, cummins, I am looking to improve gas mileage some and somewhat of an increase in power, but I don't want to make all kinds of modifications. So, what is safer for my truck the Quadzilla towing chip or the Bully dog programmer (power pup or tri-downloader??) Any suggestions or experiences?
samgovol,
Neither of the two options you mentioned are more safe than the other, neither has an EGT defuel function (the Bully Dog does if you get the Outlook monitor) etc so the responsibility for safety depends on the drivers use of the fuel pedal. If you want something safe get the Edge Juice/Attitude. It has the EGT defueling feature that allows you to set the temp when it defuels and a full gauge package to to mointor boost etc. If you have any questions just call us.
