can't decide on intake & exhaulst, help!

I know this is a beat horse but It took me 6 months to decide which truck and now I gotta decide on the mods, it'll take forever, please give me some guidance, I'm researched out

What I want: biggest hp box i'll do is edge juice but probley the va 3.2 or quad, want people to know its not stock but don't want to annoy wife and kids when cruising or at church, and want to destroy the bazillion stock powerstrokes around me.

Intake: Afe or scotty's and if afe stage 1 or 2. I live in central florida, lots of rain, sand, and dust if it matters, I'm sure I'll be leaving the silencer ring in from what I hear so the most sound isn't what I'm after, I like how with the stage 1 you can add the pipe, but which do I need for the box choices

Exhaulst: Just replace the muffler with the mbpr or auroturbine, take the kitty off or not. I want a real deep sound with a little turbo whine and best mpg possible

Thanks for the help, hoping to order this stuff tomorrow!

My recommendations with that box level.

AFE Stage II w/Pre-Filter - Its BIGGER, looks bad and does a good job of filtration. The Pre-Filter will stop most water, mud, dirt from actually getting to the filter.

Just replace the stock muffler with your choice, leave the kitty, it won't matter that much with one of those boxes, doesn't break federal emission laws and will keep any drone from happening.

I just added a Scotty 5, and an MBRP exhaust, with the cat test pipe (for off-road and competition only) and I love the results. It has given me at least 2 mpg better than before. I don't care for the MBRP at idle when cold, it sounds like someone letting the air out of a tire, but on the road (I mean road course ) I love it!
As far as boxes go, I have the TST and I highly recommend it as well.

has anyone heard the auroturbine vs mbpr side by side? The scotty's foam filters seem more affected by water, is it?

oxman,

Optimum is the Edge Juice and Attitude, add the A pillar or overhead mount for the Attitude, plus the AFE Stage II Pro Guard 7 and a MBRP performance replacement muffelr and cat test pipe if you are going off road and or racing. We sell this combo a lot and it works VERY well together and the price is very easy on the pocket book! Call us if you have any questions etc.
