Rough start and blue smoke.
Rough start and blue smoke.
Well I went out and started my truck (06') yesterday morning, about 11 am, it was around 80 degrees out. Cranked it and it start real rough and blew a small puff of blue smoke out the pipe about the size of a plastic grocery bag filled with air. It smooth out after a few seconds. I didn't drive it at this instance, I was only moving it to adjust the tire pressure. I got back in it about 3 hours later to drive into town and it starts up fine like it usually does. It seemed to have all it's power and was fine.
Got in the truck this afternoon, about 12:30, it was around 70 degrees out. Cranked it and it did it again but it took slightly longer to start and seem rougher, and also another small grocery bag sized blue puff of smoke out the pipe. Again it seemed to have all its power and acted as if nothing was wrong.
I just had my oil changed on Saturday morning at the dealership, as I have a few free oil changes, but I never had a problem with it until yesterday. It was driven multiple times on Sat and Sun and it was fine. I haven't gotten around to checking the oil level but, whenever I start it later during the day, after the 1st initial start, it doesn't give me a problem.
What do you all think? leaking injector?
