Rotors and pads?

Could someone tell me what's a good aftermarket rotor and pads for my 05. Need rotors at 40000. don't understand why but I need them. Nothing special ,just good parts that's all Thx ahead od time.

I like the Wagner thermo quiets. They are low dust and low noise and they will last without being so hard that they will ruin your rotors.

Get a quality stock replacement from Autozone, CHecker, etc. Stick with a solid rotor, and avoid holes, dimples, and slots. They provide no benifit on a pure street vehicle, and will increase pad wear. Some are pretty noisy, too.

Hawk makes a good pad. I also like Performance Friction carbon metallic.

Be carefull with ceramic pads. Their claim to fame is less noise and less dust. Most do not provide any additional stopping power, and are often not recommended for towing.

As to the why, your calipers may be hanging up and not releasing. I had to replace 1 in the rear when I noticed it was squealing and wearing the rotor and pads faster than the other side.
