Slotted Rotors and Good Pads???

I want to upgrade the brakes on my truck, I am going to use the wheel cylinders from Chevy for the rears, but was wondering about the fronts. Where do you guys buy your slotted rotors, and what kinds of pads do you use??

Pads: Porterfield R4s-- www.porterfield-brakes.com

They also have rotors. Not cheap, but none better.

BTW-- you most likely won't need slotted rotors unless you like the look. The carbon/kevlar pads don't outgas much at all, so there's no need to weaken the rotor with slots or holes.

No, he means one ton wheel cylinders from a Chevy.......the brakes on these trucks are the same as the Chevy's. Converting to one ton Chev wheel cylinders in the rea will give a much better stopping power.
