Rokktech=No smoke on startup?
I put my shiny new Rokktech sensor on the other day, advanced it for the full timing. Since then I've noticed that the formerly rather ridiculous amount of smoke my truck put out on cold start up (especially if it's set for a day or 2) has been reduced to "not much for a diesel". Has anybody else noticed this? Same tank of fuel, same additive, same everything, only thing that's changed is the sensor.

It's possible. With the more advance timing the combustion pressure is higher so there will be more of a complete burn in a cold combustion chamber.
