Engine code 0700
Engine code 0700
Hi All,
I just had my transmission replaced with a Suncoast transmission. Got everything done...Truck was given to me on Thursday night. Everything was fine and happy. It feels great, especially when this thing locks up!
Anyway, that night, Friday, and Saturday, the truck was fine. This morning (Sunday) I go out to run an errand, was on the highway for about 10 minutes, then back down to residential areas, driving around 35mph, and I notice the Check Engine Light turns on. Drive the truck back home, no loss of power, can't really feel a difference or anything, seems normal. Get home, and I have the 0700 code showing up (Transmission Control System Malfunction). I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not. Is it that the ECM doesn't want to play nice with the new transmission, or is there something wrong already???
