You don't want the reservoir hose pointing out, though. Stuff that side and droop the other and you could easily snap it off.
I think what happened here is Don built a hoop for a guy who already had shocks, and the shocks were configured properly to "do it right".

IF he built it because the customer wanted it single shear, does not mean he has to do it that way. There is ALWAYS a way to do it right (and in this case, a matter of opinion) and it would have been just as easy to do the double shear as single. A little taller hoop. Rotate the shock 90* inboard to the engine side. And bam, shock has clearnace and ready fo the double shear. Hey, not that big of a deal. Like i said, I just pointed out how I would do it, and in my eye's is teh right way to do it at that.

Website is not very detailed. All I see are coil over King shocks, and some 4 link conrol arms. So, can not offer an opinion on it.
