Rize Industries Announced their new Dodge lift

A neighbor up the street from me has a big Rize Industries lift on his '07 Ford, and it looks like an awesome kit. One of the best looking Fords I've seen around! Rize has been saying they are working on a Dodge lift for a LONG time, and when I looked at their site, they finally updated the Dodge side, and put up a few pics.

Here's what they wrote:

"Rize Industries is proud to announce the completion of our first production 8" lift kit for the Dodge Mega-Cab. We appologize for the delay, however we believe you will be impressed with the end result. We have enginered a steering system similar to our 12" Ford Super Duty sreering upgrade to eliminate the bump steer issues that have been a problem for the lifted Dodges. We are now taking orders on this kit with a release date of Oct 31st. Thanks for your interest in Rize Industries."

What do you guys think?

Nice looking kit, but i thought they would have made a long travel kit and not use the stock short control arms. Id consider buying the kit.

Yeah, I'd be curious to hear what Mr. Thuren or any of the other suspension gurus think of this kit. And what the advantages/disadvantages are of this kit compare to a long arm kit, or a radius arm kit. I haven't heard pricing on this kit, but I can't imagine it being anywhere near the ballpark of cheap!

I'm sure it'll work, but I would much rather have nice long links, and get rid of the gaudy drop brackets. Steering links look beef though. Should take a heck of a load off of the pitman arm.

I don't care for that look with all that excess bracketry under the truck.

Those arms are WAY too short for an 8" lift. Just seeing this kit would prevent me from ever buying anything from that company.

The truck does look killer, but I would rather have a long arm system just like everyone else. On the contrary though, if you look at the pics the arms don't have that much of an angle to them so it may not be that bad. I know the short arms with my 5" kit have much more angle than that, but it would take some getting used to with that big drop bracket. It would be really cool if it extended on back somewhat and was lower profile; then had some traction bars integrated into it. Kind of like a 4-link setup.

Not what i thought it was going to be..
I was picturing a big huge long arm kit with billet front end components like the super duty.. With a big set of Kings up front?
By the looks of the pics iam glad i went with my BDS Long Arm..

The upper link arm mounting extension is a bad idea. Skyjacker uses an upper link extender, I have put two of these on my trucks and have had the stock upper link mount develop cracks from the stress where it is welded to the axle. I won't ever by a skyjacker again becuase of it... there is just too much weight to on those link mount extensions.

I can tell you from driving it home 350 miles, it is a dream. Just loaded a Diablo Sport tune into before we left Rize industries shop yesterday. Bump steer is non existent, steering feels stock, very nice kit indeed Heres a pic of it in front of my house last night at 11:30. Here are a couple more. Just to clarify, this is my brothers truck, I just have it for the weekend to do some more bombs. Next photos will be with 6" stacks, AFE goodies, and some gauges.
