I am thinking about replacing just my muffler. I am looking for a direct replacement performance muffler. What have others used? Did anyone see an improvemnt in fuel mileage?

 

This is a very conversated topic, do a search and you will find a ton of info. Look along the lines of these when you search.

Donaldson, Nelson, Aero Turbine, Hushpower, Flo-Pro they are all good mufflers.

 

I replaced mine with an AeroTurbine 4040XL. I purchased an offset pipe at the same time. I also cut out the resonator that was behind the rear axle. Nice sound in the cab. But when my wife was driving it the other day, I could hear her coming from about 1/2 mile away!!!

 

Thats a good thing. Gives you time to sneak the girlfriend out of the house
