rear sway bar
Hmmm. I haul 26K+ LBS with my DRW, and have never had any issue's. 44' Enclosed triple 10K LB axles, Generator mounted up top/front, welding machine, computer, tool cabinets, dual over head AC units, engine hoist, Pro Mod Firebird, 4 wheeler, you name it, and I slammed with it. I do not run air bag's either. Just what Dodge gave me, the stock leaf springs and stock shocks.
and I would assume by the size a fifth wheel trailer
- major difference-
apples to oranges
fifth wheel trailers are always more stable than bumper jobs
Actually a gooseneck, and if all I was going to haul was a bumper pull, I would have bought a SRW.
Do you need to remove the sway bar to remove the diff. cover? The pic of the mag-hytec reminds me of another mod I need to do soon.

Also I just noticed yours is 2wd Are the 4x4 version much diffferent?

No you don't have to remove sway bar to remove diff cover. That was my concern before I got it also, I call Hellwing twice and asked if it would fit over the Mag-Hytec diff cover before placing the order.

Hellwig bar for me
The pictures pretty much made up my mind. I like the way the Hellwig bar is mounted in the middle of the axle, not down low like in the 2nd gen trucks. And if there is plenty of clearance for the cover and shocks this looks to be the one. I see where roadmaster makes one also, but a bit on the pricey side.
