ramifier and afe stage 2 air intake report.

I had the ramifier HP box (adjustable) and afe stage 2(proguard 7) airtake installed this morning at Daves diesel in Angola Ind.(good folks).First impressions on the ramifier HP box, noticeable pickup in the truck turned up all the way to 100 HP,low & high end.Egts were about 760 with gas pedal floored. The afe intake has more noticeable turbo (air) noise than the stock intake box,Im sure the wife will like that .I reset the overhead mpgs display for a mpg check (100 mile loop for mileage) display said 21.5 mpgs driving at 60-65 mph.Im sure this might not be correct,I will do a hand cal.in the next few days and repost some mpgs figures.coobie

That is way to low...should be around 1300 give or take a 100 depending on load, elevaion, etc. Something is wrong.

I would switch the probe to pre turbo as soon as you can now that you are running fueling mods. There are many many posts explaining the reasons for doing this and the places/methods to install. Rear half of the collector a couple inches above the turbo/manifold flange is my preference.
