rail pressure gauges?????

Sounds like you're plugging it in backwards at the sensor. Not sure if you're aware but those plugs will go in backwards and appear to fit correctly.

I haven't had any problems with my Quad RP gauge...yet.
what is SPA????

If your truck is running and you just unplugged the r/p gauge, the truck starts running rough and sounds like terrible timing rattle. This is the same thing that happens to me with the Quad r/p plugged up. Phil (Mcmopar) on here was with me once when it started doing it. Probably just a bad connector or soulder connection, but this is the second gauge I have had trouble with. Just wish the quality was up a little.

I like my fuel and rail pressure gauge from quad. Ive had it over 6 months and no problems! (yet)

The Quad display can be difficult to read if it's really bright outside, especially if the sun is shining onto it. Probably not a problem if it's mounted under the dash in a dark spot, but frustrating with an instrument cluster mount like this:
