My buddy likes the way my BD twins spool, and is thinking about getting some, but wants to know what twins are the quickest spooling?

 

I've heard that about BD Twins. But you and your bud need to keep in mind that quick spooling basically means hole shot. What about after that?? There is a compromise that gives you good spooling and outstanding mid and top end. IMO that is the place to go. Other wise a guy with a set like mine will blow by you like you hit a wall. See my point.

I agree did BD twins then went to MPI Twins, and its a different ball game. Thats all Im gonna say, BD makes a good off the shelf kit but for the money hey can go a little more custom(MPI).

I hear IIs towing twins spool up quickly and the K 31 on the bottom should keep things cool with moderate hp.

 

I have the small BD twins and can say the spool up is fantastic. But they quickly runs out of air and the drive pressures and EGT's go real high after about 550 rwhp. So if your going to stay under that I would say they are an excellent set of twins. I wouldn't have bought them though if I didn't get a killer deal on them though.

 

X3 for MPI there Stocker/S400 is what Ill will be doing

 

The only set I have seen that spools faster than the BD towing twins used a stock 03 turbo over a PS66. That was quick.

 

My garretts just posted 708 hp and spool faster than BD tow twins, stocker over S400 or anything else I have witnessed.

 

Just installed my MPI twin's 2 weekend's ago (Silver62/S400). And all i can say is WOW!! Running TNT #4, TST on #2 and holy ****, these are fun to drive. I can hit 60 PSI quickly, almost ridiculously quick. I love diesel power

 

Any info being released on these yet?

Any matched Stock Turbo S-400 kits...
Any 62/65/12-14 S-400 or GT42 kits...
BD Tow twins...even though the run out of air before 600 hp...

and...
several new BB kits coming out?
