Red face Questions with new truck

So I inherited a Banks iQ, 6Gun and Big Hoss Bundle and brake with the 04 I just bought. The PO had accidentally broke the connector for the iQ. So I found a cable, cut it, mated the two cables and the iQ turns on when the truck is started. But there is no communication between the truck and the iQ or the 6Gun and the iQ. I would like to try and fix this junk and get it right so I can try and sell it for 50.00.....On the Banks Bus there are two indicators, but only the right hand LED flashes when everything is connected. Any ideas?

I looked on the sticker on the cover and my truck is a 4/27/2004 build and says its a ISB 325....How do I determine which engine this is (I know there are 3 different HP/TQ ratings) but the Banks intake covers a lot of the sticker....

Another issue I found was that the PO had removed a plug out of the Banks intake horn, and never put it back . What can I use to plug the opening for now (as I am sure I am bleeding off boost like its cool with that open.

Given the build date, it's an 04.5 with the 325 hp/610 torque engine. The rest of the stuff I can't help with.

Thanks! I had a long talk with John_P and I think I have most of it ironed out. First thing is to gut the 6Gun out and donate it to the local dumpster......

Those 6 guns are a pain. 8 billion wires to chase around. I know about 8 trucks that run them and only one has ran good with no issues. only good of them according to my 2 cents is that if you don't like black smoke its an ok chip to have....

Well, the banks is onto another owner (he got a deal on everything for 20.00). Got gauges coming in this weekend. But since I am preparing to deploy I will be out of town. Next weekend the truck will get Fuel, Boost and EGT gauges. Is there any difference in pulling boost from the predrilled and tapped spots on the intake horn and from the actual manifold? I have 6 spots on the horn I could use. I know later at least 2 will be used for a water system.

Just decoded the VIN and found this:
MFR model code DR8L42
Body type: Long Bed
Pass Doors: 4
Alternative name: 4WD Quad Cab 8 Ft Box DRW ST
Alternative body: Crew Cab Pickup - Long Bed
Drivetrain: Four Wheel Drive
Type Straight 6 Cylinder Engine
Displacement L/CI 5.9/360
Fuel Type Diesel Fuel
Horsepower 305.0 @ 2900
Fuel Economy 0.0 City / 0.0 Highway
Fuel Capacity 35.0 gal
Net Torque 555.0 @ 1400

So this is a true 2004 not the 04.5 even though the build date is 4/27/2004 and the Valve cover says its a ISB325. TST's website states that the 325/600 begins on 5/1/2004....Oh well, I hear Smarty makes all the 03+ a 325/600
